Historic Name:
Description: Built in 1941, this is an early example of several homes designed by the notable local architect, Clarence Dahlquist, who resided nearby. The multi-level interior design was considered innovative when it was built. And a major remodeling in about 1995 added additional rooms above the existing garage. Many interesting aspects have been documented by the Mussay family, who had been long term residents. Over the years, the traditional colonial details have been maintained, and the stone chimney remains a prominent feature facing the street. Extensive landscaping installed by the well known Synnestvedts nursery has been a consistent feature leading up to the current River bank planting restoration.
