Historic Name:
Description: More recently constructed on a redeveloped parcel, which included the adjacent Dahlquist residence (replaced in approximately 2004), this newer home was based on custom builder Orren Pickell "jewel box" prototype. As noted in the Chicago Tribune (April, 2001), the original design was "Inspired by Arts & Crafts architecture, with a New England-style exterior" the boxed bay windows and gable within a gable is reminiscent of the early 20th century Craftsman. Surprisingly, the most significant architectural features are in the interior design; and some of the most unique aspects of the 3-level floor plan are reflected in the River views.
