  • General Information

Description: Built in 1928, this is sometimes referred to as the Vatter home in recognition of one of the earliest Circles residents. It was built as an "Early American" style, according to the accompanying newspaper article. A later complementary enclosure to the front facade maintained the roofline and dormer treatment. This home was featured in the December 5, 1928 edition of the Home Building section of the Chicago Tribune. At that time, it was noted for its healthy design based on the windows, centralized systems, and environmental considerations which were at that time considered innovative.
